Job Introduction
Are you a qualified Health Visitor looking to specialise in Looked After Children and to join a service really making a difference? Our Lancaster team have a part-time opportunity of 18.75 hour per week, where we are offering a £2000 welcome bonus and reimbursement on the cost of your NMC registration (terms and conditions apply).
Working within Lancashire 0-19 offers a unique environment, with clear visibility of senior management who are easily approachable due to their hands-on approach, which includes our Managing Director. You will feel listened to and be given the platforms to have your voice and ideas heard.

Main Responsibility
As a Looked After Childrens Health Visitor your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Support the Looked After Children team to ensure that the organisation meets its responsibilities to looked after children.
Support young people in care to make healthy lifestyle choices to reduce the risk- taking behaviours and optimise their health outcome
To be trauma aware and understanding of the principles of a trauma informed approach to care and the impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences on children, young people and adults
Undertake health assessments for looked after childre
The Ideal Candidate
You will have or be working towards a SCPHN Health Visitor qualification and a desire to ensure children in Lancashire have the best possible start in life. In addition, you will have a specific interest in Looked After Children with demsontrable experience desirable.
You will have a passion to drive positive change to families and use the platform HCRG Care Group offer to suggest innovative improvements as and when you see fit. As this is a community role, you will also have a valid UK driving licence, with access to a car for work purposes. Although we can make certain accommodations if you do not yet have a driving licence or are unable to hold one.
