Job Introduction

As a Healthcare Assistant you’ll join a team who are focused on exceeding the needs of patients within HCRG Care Group North Lincolnshire Sexual Health Service (NLISH), based at Ironstone Centre in Scunthorpe. You will support the delivery of care in integrated sexual health to clients of all ages from age 13 upwards and from a diverse range of cultural and social backgrounds. 

This is a part-time position (30 hours per week) and you will be based in Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire.

The work is varied and interesting whilst we are striving to successfully provide healthcare and develop our services to meet the needs of the local population.

Main Responsibility

The post holder will be expected to work collaboratively with key team members including nursing, medical and administration colleagues and support the Service Manager, Clinical Lead and Administration Manager to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of clinical sessions and smooth running of the service.

The Ideal Candidate

The postholder will be expected to be flexible and able to travel to various locations across the localities to support marketing events and offer sexual health care in a variety of settings once trained in the speciality.  

You will also need to be confident using IT systems and be able to demonstrate working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel.
