Job Introduction
We are delighted to offer an opportunity to join the Sexual Health team working at Oldham Sexual Health Service , Oldham .As an administrator you’ll join a team who are focused on delivering impeccable customer service to our staff and service users and undertake clerical duties to ensure a comprehensive and efficient administrative support service. We are seeking a fixed term ,full time 37.5 hour per week administrator to cover for maternity leave for 12 months.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated candidate to support delivery of a high quality, innovative, integrated sexual health model of care for the population of Oldham served by Oldham, Rochdale and Bury Integrated Sexual Health.
The post covers one site in Oldham , travel and to work across our other sites in Rochdale & Oldham may be required .
Main Responsibility
Your days will be challenging and busy , undertaking reception duties, including updating patient’s personal details , booking patients into the service and organising appointments. As part of the Care Coordination Centre you will ensure telephone enquiries are dealt with in a polite, courteous and timely manner. You will support the Administration Manager in the day-to-day operational functions of the department and undertake any office duties to ensure the efficiency of the administrative service is maintained at all times.
The Ideal Candidate
You will be; Educated to GCSE level or equivalent in Maths and English, able to organise and prioritise own workload , able to communicate effectively and in appropriate manner with individual and groups at all levels, work as part of a multi-disciplinary team ,IT skills and experience in using office software . Good interpersonal skills, both verbal and written and work using own initiative You will also need to be confident using IT systems and be able to demonstrate working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel.
