Administrator – Integrated Urgent Community Response Team

Job Introduction

We have a fantastic opportunity available in our Integrated Urgent Community Response Team, Bickerstaff house, Ormskirk. We are looking for an enthusiastic,  motivated Administrator to play a vital part in delivering impeccable customer service to our service users for HCRG Care Group.

This full time role of 37.5 hours offers a working pattern of 8-4pm or 9-5pm, five days a week. Come join our team and make a real difference to the people that need our help and support.

You will provide administration support and duties to a large multi-disciplinary team providing rapid interventions to patients in order to reduce avoidable hospital admissions. This requires a high standard of administrative duties and exceptional customer care in dealing with patients, carers and professionals.  The role will involve data entry of patient information into our clinical system, EMIS.

Main Responsibility

  • Support the administrative functions of the team which enables the smooth day to day running and delivery of care.
  • To undertake a full range of administration tasks to support the team, including telephone calls to patients, carers and other health care professionals
  • Work jointly with the clinicians to enable data collection and measurement of service outcomes

The Ideal Candidate

The desirable candidate for this role will be friendly, polite, enthusiastic and enjoy working in an exciting role. Our new team member will have excellent time management and be able to prioritise and organise workload effectively.

For this role experience of learning and using multiple systems would be useful, as well as competent in PowerPoint, Microsoft office etc. Previous experience working in an NHS or health care environment would be desirable.
