Staffing Coordinator
Base - Chippenham Community Hospital, Rowden Hill, Chippenham, Wiltshire SN15 2AJ utilising a hybrid working model to include some remote working.
This is a busy but extremely rewarding and vital role to the organisation, supporting operational teams in the supply and process management of temporary workforce; ensuring up to date and accurate E-Roster central management; as well as providing administration support to the wider Flexible Workforce and Rostering team.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly organised individual with excellent communication skills, who can work from their own initiative, be able to learn and pick up systems quickly and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Sitting within the wider People Team structure, this role works as part of a small team who offer 7-day service support to clinical teams across the organisation.
This role would be 37.5 hours per week covering core hours Monday – Friday with a rostered weekend rotation, based in Chippenham Community Hospital with a hybrid model combining office and remote working.

Main Responsibilities
- Book bank and agency workers in line with agreed booking processes, policies and authorisation arrangements.
- Communicate on a daily basis face to face, by email and by telephone with bank workers to support shift fill and worker liaison.
- Respond to requests from flexible workers (bank/agency) and accurately record requests for cover from departments, wards and managers.
- Book agency workers through the third party provider and ensure that the data across the two systems is updated and maintained consistently and accurately.
- Be a first point of contact for the team, including managing the generic inboxes, answering queries and escalating as appropriate.
- Act as a key contact for new starters joining the Flexible Workforce Service
- Update internal service users regularly in regard to cover request progress or any changes to requirements.
- Act as a point of contact for any general queries around the systems and processes related to Allocate Healthroster.
