Senior Receptionist/Administrator

Job Introduction

We are looking for a Senior Receptionist/Administrator to join our friendly and supportive team.

E16 Health are looking for a Senior Receptionist/Administrator for 37.5 hours per week.

Main Responsibility

Key duties will include:

  • Supporting the Practice Manager in ensuring the smooth running of the practice where required, help develop efficient systems of management and to delegate tasks appropriately.
  • To promote the development and maintenance of a qualify learning environments throughout the practice.
  • To deputise for the practice manager and will be a member of the surgery team with the delegated responsibility for overseeing the day-to-day operation of the surgery. You will ensure the effective processing of all administrative work and appropriate liaison with the reception and administration team.

The Ideal Candidate

Interested? What you will need to be considered:

  • NHS or GP Practice experience and previous use of System One or EMIS is desirable.
  • Reception or customer care experience is essential as well as an excellent communicator both spoken and written.
  • Must have basic PC skills such as Word, Excel and email.
  • Able to work within processes, procedures and maintain confidently and data security.
  • Previous experience of working in the NHS is welcome but not essential.
