The Role:
As a Salaried GP, you will play a crucial role in the provision of primary healthcare services to our diverse patient population. Your expertise and dedication will be instrumental in diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of medical conditions. By working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on patient outcomes.
Main Responsibility
- Patient Care: Provide comprehensive and empathetic medical care, building strong doctor-patient relationships, and ensuring continuity of care.
- Diagnosis and Treatment: Accurately diagnose and treat various medical conditions, offering evidence-based solutions and personalized treatment plans.
- Preventive Medicine: Promote health and wellness through preventive care, health screenings, and lifestyle counselling.
- Chronic Disease Management: Manage and monitor chronic conditions, empowering patients to lead healthier lives.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with our team of nurses, specialists, and support staff to deliver integrated healthcare services.
- Continuous Learning: Stay up to date with the latest medical advancements and best practices, attending educational opportunities and training sessions.
Requirements:
- Medical Qualifications: Valid medical degree and full General Medical Council (GMC) registration.
- GP Experience: Demonstrated experience as a General Practitioner, with a solid foundation in primary care.
- Compassion and Empathy: A genuine passion for patient care, with the ability to provide compassionate and patient-centred service.
- Excellent Communication: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, fostering effective patient interactions and clear team collaboration.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to handle a diverse caseload and willingness to embrace new challenges.
The Ideal Candidate
Knowledge Experience and Training
- GP Vocational or additional experience in general practice.
- Knowledge of the NHS and understanding of clinical governance.
- Able to work under pressure and within an ever-changing environment.
Qualifications
- Full and current unrestricted GMC (UK) registration on the GP Register MRCGP (or working towards it)
Other Requirements
- Willingness to work flexibly to support the needs of the service.
- Ability to travel.
Package Description
As our Salaried GP, you’ll be part of our valued team:
- £85,000.00 to £95,000.00 per annum (Depending on experience) + NHS pension and annual leave.
