Are you an dynamic and motivated Physiotherapist in the Gravesend area?
We are looking for a Band 5 Physiotherapist to join the Falls Team in Gravehsam Community Hospital. This role covers the Dartford, Gravesham and Swale communities.
The Physiotherapist would be working closely with the team of Physiotherapists as well as working collaboratively with our Occupational Therapy, Nursing and Support Worker colleagues.
Main Responsibility
The post holder will provide a physiotherapy service to patients within the DGS Falls/Rapid response service, within the community, performing therapeutic assessment and treatment of patients with diverse presentations and complex physical, psychological conditions.
You will devise an individualised treatment programme appropriate to the patient’s condition, implement and deliver treatment interventions whilst liaising with the patient, family members/relatives and carers.
The Ideal Candidate
You must have a degree in Physiotherapy and be HCPC Registered. Holding a current full driving licence with access to vehicle is essential as you will need to travel around the Dartford, Gravesham and Swale areas.
Having experience/knowledge of a Rapid Response or Falls team would be advantageous but not essential.
If you are a final year student due to qualify, we can also look to support you with our preceptorship scheme that we offer where we support you into the team within the first year of your qualification.
