We are on the lookout for Dental Nurses (band 4 and 5 as well as specialist roles), Dental Therapists, Dental Officers and Senior Dental Officers as well as a whole host of other roles! We can offer full time, part time and bank shifts.

Main Responsibility

You will support the Community Dental Service by preparing the surgery at the beginning of a clinical session, making sure all materials and instruments are ready for all clinical procedures.

Other responsibilities may include:

  • Providing advice to patient/parents/carers regarding patient care packages
  • Assisting the Community Dentists and Therapists throughout the treatment session and supervise patients until they are able to leave the surgery
  • Undertaking duties, which involve dealing with a variety of Adults & Children all with special needs
  • Listening to patient’s opinions and support them within the structure of the service and take appropriate action
  • Assisting the Dental Nurse Team Manager in the day-to-day administration of the service

On the day we will have managers, and colleagues so you can discuss the day to day activity and see who you would be working alongside. You will be able to discuss with colleagues how they have progressed through the positions and how we have been able to support with their professional development.
