Job Introduction

Join our fantastic Dermatology team as a Medical Administrator at our Cromwell Road Primary Care Centre, Grimsby within our North and North East Lincolnshire service. You will be working closing with our consultants and nurses to support the day-to-day operations, and to be the first point of contact for our patients, to support the administrative needs of the business.

Our service runs: Monday to Friday

Main Responsibility

Your days will be rewarding and fulfilling and some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• To provide a first point of contact, answering telephone enquiries, taking and relaying messages in a polite and helpful manner, and using own judgment to establish the priority of issues and taking action as appropriate

• To liaise with Consultants, Doctors, Nurses and other members of the team to provide a quality service for the patients.

• To maintain computerised and manual filing systems.

• To deal with incoming correspondence, using initiative as appropriate.

• To order clinic and office supplies, when necessary, as efficiently as possible.

• To keep accurate records for auditing purposes both internally and externally. 

• To ensure all correspondence to patients, GPs and hospitals is processed in a timely manner.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be confident using IT systems and be able to demonstrate working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel. Also having the ability to communicate effectively and sensitively with staff and patients, including handling sensitive data.
