Immunisation Support Worker/Administrator

Job Introduction

We are seeking an Immunisation Support Worker to join our team based in the BAth area on a substantive basis working 22.5 hours per week, term time only.

The post holder will work alongside substantive and bank colleagues, and will be based in Bath but the role will require wider travel across the locality.

Main Responsibility

As an Immunisation Support Worker at HCRG Care Group, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Excellent communication skills with children & young people and their families and outside agencies. 
  • Building strong relationships.
  • Support the delivery of the service to children and young people by providing administrative support at immunisation and vaccination sessions and support to the children and young people post immunisations.
  • Strong administrative skills to manage the data entry and extraction of data from the various clinical systems used by the Immunisation Team.

The Ideal Candidate

You will have:

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent skills or experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft products, mainly Outlook and Excel
  • Experience of data entry 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, written and verbal
  • Enthusiasm and experience of working with children and young people
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads
