Job Introduction

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a skilled and motivated In-House Recruitment Lead to join our dynamic Talent Acquisition team. As a vital member of our team, you will lead and support a group of talented Recruitment Advisors and Co-ordinators in sourcing, attracting, and acquiring top-tier talent for our organisation. This is a hands-on role that requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a commitment to excellence. As a Recruitment Lead, the role is a hybrid working role in which we would be looking for the candidate to come into our head office in Runcorn 3 days per week to manage and upskill the team on talent acquisition. We have a flexible working approach where we try to make our hours able to suit you, our core office hours are 10am - 4pm however you manage your own diary so can pick a working pattern that works best for your work life balance.

Main Responsibility

  • Team Leadership: As the HR Recruitment Lead, you will line manage a stream of 3 Recruitment Advisors and 2 Recruitment Coordinators. Your leadership skills will guide the team towards achieving recruitment targets and promoting a collaborative and innovative work culture.
  • Talent Acquisition Strategy: Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract high-caliber candidates across various roles within the organisation. Collaborate with the Hiring Managers and Senior Leaders and other Recruitment Leads to optimize the talent acquisition process and enhance candidate experience.
  • Candidate Sourcing: Utilise various channels, including social media, job boards, and networking platforms, to source and engage with potential candidates. Ensure a diverse and inclusive approach to talent acquisition. You will also be the innovator of new recruitment methods to continuously develop and lead on the future of recruitment.
  • Selection and Assessment: Lead the team in conducting comprehensive candidate assessments, interviews, and support your co-ordinators with the onboarding checks, ensuring that we bring on board candidates who align with our values and contribute to our vibrant work culture.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Analyse recruitment data and metrics to provide regular reports on team performance and suggest data-driven improvements to the hiring process.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience: You have a proven track record in recruitment and talent acquisition. Previous experience in managing full-cycle recruitment in a Healthcare industry is desirable yet not essential.
  • Strategic Thinker: You possess strong analytical skills, enabling you to develop effective talent acquisition strategies aligned with the organization's goals.
  • Leadership Skills: Your exceptional leadership abilities empower your team to thrive, while your approachability fosters a supportive and high-performing work environment.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are at the core of your success. You can effectively collaborate with various stakeholders and build relationships with candidates.
  • SEO Proficiency: Familiarity with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) principles will be an advantage, allowing you to optimize job postings for better visibility and reach.
