Are you a part-qualified or newly qualified accountant ready to move beyond the numbers and truly influence business decisions?

This is your opportunity to step into a Finance Business Partnering role where you’ll work directly with operational leaders, shaping strategy, driving performance, and making a real impact across vital healthcare services.

You’ll partner a diverse portfolio worth £30–40m, gaining exposure, responsibility, and the chance to develop into a fully-fledged commercial finance leader.


What you’ll be doing

This is far more than a reporting role — you’ll be at the heart of commercial decision-making:

  • Producing and delivering monthly management accounts with clear, actionable insights
  • Partnering with operational and clinical teams to drive financial performance and improve outcomes
  • Supporting budgeting & forecasting, helping stakeholders plan and make smarter decisions
  • Turning complex financial data into simple, impactful recommendations for non-finance colleagues
  • Providing analysis on costs, revenue, contracts, and service performance
  • Contributing to new bids, service improvements, and transformation projects
  • ⚙️ Strengthening financial controls and identifying opportunities to improve processes

You'll quickly become the go-to finance expert for your stakeholders.


Who we’re looking for

We’re keen to hear from ambitious, forward-thinking finance professionals who want to step up into a commercial role.

Essential:

  • Part-qualified or newly qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
  • Experience preparing accounts (trial balance through to final accounts)
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills
  • Ability to explain financials clearly to non-finance stakeholders
  • Confidence to challenge and influence senior stakeholders
  • A collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills
  • Valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes*

*this role requires travel across the BSW patch.


Desirable:

  • Exposure to business partnering or stakeholder-facing roles
  • Experience working with large cost bases or multiple service lines
  • NHS / healthcare experience (helpful but not essential)
