Data Analyst - Tableau

Job Introduction

As a Tableau Data Analyst, you will work with the regional and corporate services to turn reporting requirements into reality; producing consistent, timely and high quality reporting that will yield actionable insights and ultimately better care for our patients. 

The team is based in our Runcorn office, but we embrace flexible working – so you can chose to work where’s best for you (provided you can attend the office for essential face to face activities).

Main Responsibility

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Establishing a strategic partnership with your stakeholders to facilitate data improvement, provide valuable insights through specialist skills and enable evidence-based decision making.
  • Provide expert and proactive analytical support to services\functions (corporate and\or clinical).
  • Act as the main interface between the services and Analytics, ensuring a regular flow of high-quality information that supports patient care, service delivery, performance monitoring, transformation plans and financial decision making.
  • Localise the Data Governance process and facilitate data improvement. Tableau is our data visualisation tool of choice with dashboards deployed to Tableau Server and data sourced from SQL Server data models.

There will also be mandated reporting requirements that stipulate outputs in other formats such as Excel, which you will be comfortable developing and automating via SQL Server Reporting Services where feasible.

The Ideal Candidate

You will be a Data Analyst or Tableau Developer with demonstrable experience of working with a wide range of customers to deliver timely intelligence that hits the mark and have experience integrating Tableau with SQL Server and other platforms to achieve best in class reporting and analytics

You will also be self-motivated to continue to develop your own knowledge to always strive for better and have excellent communication skills to build relationships with key internal stakeholders.
