As a Physiotherapist within HCRG Care Group in Luton you’ll join a team who deliver a holistic approach to Rehabilitation. Your days will be rewarding and varied and include offering rehabilitation in patients homes and within our Rehab Unit.
Main Responsibility
As a Community Physiotherapist you will visit patients in their home or in our inpatient rehabilitation unit, supporting them following hospital discharge. Within this role, you will work alongside a team of Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists to:
- Deal with triage of patient referrals
- Complete holistic initial assessments with patients
- Liaise with family members/relatives and carers
- Devise and reviewing care plans
- Complete follow up visits with patients
- Attend and participating in team meetings and inservice training
- Lead and assisting with strength and balance classes
The Ideal Candidate
This is an opportunity to put your Degree in Physiotherapy to great use. You will have a full driving license with access to a car, you will be motivated, innovative and adaptable, with the ability to work flexibly across specialities as need arises, holding the HCPC (Physiotherapist) registration. With strong communication and organisation skills, and a flexible approach you will ensure delivery of positive experiences to patients at every stage of their healthcare journey.
You will also need to be confident using IT systems and be able to demonstrate working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel.
