Bank Healthcare Assistant

Job Introduction

We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team as part of our well-established bank.

This role will provide nursing care as delegated by the Senior Nurse and implement evidence-based nursing care within the care setting i.e.. inpatient rehabilitation ward or in the patient place of residence.

We will provide you with a level of training and support to bolster your healthcare assistant skills to meet the identified patient needs and support across multiple service providers.

This is the perfect opportunity for a second- or third-year student studying towards their nursing degree or someone who has previous care experience looking for flexible working based on their individual availability.

Main Responsibility

  • Enabling and supporting personal care
  • Assisting with activities of daily living
  • Monitoring observations and wellbeing
  • Joint visits with qualified professionals to support with delivery of care as per individual care plans
  • Providing and delivering holistic care and escalating any concerns to senior leads
  • Ensuring to maintain patient confidentiality and dignity at all times

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have a care certificate or an equivalent health and social care qualification.

Evidence of relevant health care experience is required.

You will be required to travel across all areas covered by our North Kent services, so a driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.

You will also need to be confident using IT systems and be able to work independently with technology.
