Job Introduction
As a Bank Community Ward Nurse you will offer support to Service Users and their families.
You will be working as part of the NHS system in BaNES where we deliver services across Bath and North East Somerset. Our hospitals are based in Paulton and Bath where we provide general medical and stroke rehabilitation for those stepping down form the Acute NHS Trusts; as well as supporting our primary care colleagues with admission avoidance; stepping up from the community.

You'll be working in a tight-knit team who will support you throughout your work endeavours and push you for success. Team Leaders and Managers are hands-on and approachable on the wards, they will lead yourself and the rest of the team to be innovative and forward-thinking with your approach to nursing.
The Ideal Candidate
You'll have a RGN qualification and license to practice. We currently have opportunities across our localities in both Paulton and St. Martins.
You will also put to use your strong communication and organisation skills, along with a flexible approach, will ensure you deliver positive experiences to patients at every stage of their healthcare journey.
You will also need to be confident using IT systems and be able to demonstrate working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel.

As a Bank Community Ward Nurse, you’ll be working as part of the NHS/Local Authority system in Bath and North East Somerset where we deliver health services in our community hospitals.
