Job Introduction
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Physiotherapist to join our dynamic Musculoskeletal Outpatient team at Keynsham Health Centre!
This is an opportunity to put your Degree in Physiotherapy to great use! In this role, you'll collaborate closely with our team of dedicated Physiotherapists and exercise instructors, you will be responsible for managing a diverse clinical caseload encompassing various musculoskeletal conditions, ensuring a consistently high standard of care.
You will also contribute to the smooth operation of our department on a daily basis and play a crucial role in educating undergraduate students clinically and act as a mentor and role model for junior staff members.
This is a full time opportunity with the typical working hours being 8:30am – 5:00pm Monday to Thursday and half day Friday. There is some flexibility to start and finish times which can be discussed at interview.
You will be based at Keynsham Health Centre but there will be a requirement to travel to other locations for training and meetings as necessary.
Main Responsibility
Within this role, you will:
- Perform thorough assessments and diagnoses by interpreting clinical and non-clinical information.
- Work with patients to set clear rehabilitation goals
- Implement diverse treatment plans using various therapeutic techniques
- Support departmental operations by assisting the team lead and contributing to evidence-based practice developments.
- Facilitate the professional development of physiotherapy students and junior staff
- Identify and address personal training needs to stay current and evidence-based.
- Effectively communicate with patients, carers, and other professionals to maximize rehabilitation outcomes
- Handle complex information sensitively and maintain effective communication channels with all stakeholders.

The Ideal Candidate
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum of one year's experience in an MSK setting
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car
- Motivated, innovative, and adaptable with flexibility to work across various locations (Keynsham Health Centre, St Martins Hospital, and Paulton Memorial Hospital)
- HCPC (Physiotherapist) registration
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Commitment to delivering positive patient experiences throughout their healthcare journey
- Proficient in using IT systems, including Microsoft Office packages such as Outlook, Word, and Excel
