Band 5 Occupational Therapist - Recruitment Open Day

Main Responsibility

• Complete holistic initial assessments with patients
• Devise treatment plans in line with patient's goals 
• Liaise with family members/relatives and carers  
• Implement and deliver treatment interventions
• Complete follow up review visits with patients
• Delegate to support worker colleagues 
• Attend and participate in clinical meetings, team meetings and in-service training 
• Providing high-quality care to help patients achieve their functional goals and enhance their quality of life.

The Ideal Candidate

This is an opportunity to put your Degree in Occupational Therapy to great use. You will have a full driving license with access to a car, you will be motivating, innovative and adaptable, with the ability to work flexibly across specialities as need arises, holding the HCPC registration. With strong communication and organisation skills, and a flexible approach you will ensure delivery of positive experiences to patients at every stage of their healthcare journey.

On the day we will have recruitment advisors hiring managers, and colleagues from each banding range. You will be able to discuss with colleagues how they have progressed through the bands and how we have been able to support with professional development. As we will have recruitment advisors available on the day we can talk you through interviewing techniques and support you with the writing of your CV and how to best display your skillset.
