Main Responsibility

As a Support Worker/ Healthcare Assistant you will have some knowledge and experience in care. We will provide you with additional relevant training and support you to do your job. Your duties will generally be routine in nature and carried out on a day to day basis. You will have the experience and expertise to work on your own, seeking guidance from registered staff as required. You will be supervised by registered practitioners, who will monitor your care and work plans. Your primary purpose is to carry out routine care and health tasks which will be set out in agreed care plans, or work plans or as directed by registered colleagues. You will also, when trained, contribute to care plans. Ensuring all documentation is completed accurately. Tasks will include the provision of personal care and other practical support that will helps service users recover, rehabilitate and maintain independence. Additionally, you will lead/guide a team of health care assistants. Working within HCRG Care Group values and behaviours at all times.

The Ideal Candidate

On the day we will have recruitment advisors hiring managers, and colleagues from each banding range. You will be able to discuss with colleagues how they have progressed through the bands and how we have been able to support with professional development. As we will have recruitment advisors available on the day we can talk you through interviewing techniques and support you with the writing of your CV and how to best display your skillset. If you have your CV please bring this long, we can even offer interviews on the day with our hiring managers!
