Job Introduction
As an Advanced Nurse Practitioner based on Kestrel Ward at Sittingbourne Memorial Hospital, you'll join a multidisciplinary team who are focused on exceeding the needs of patients within our community.
You will support the delivery of care to a range of complex patients and the work will be varied and interesting. Striving to successfully provide healthcare can be both challenging and rewarding and our services are developing to meet the needs of the local population.
Main Responsibility
As the Advanced Nurse Practitioner you will be working closely with a multidisciplinary team where you will use your experience to practice autonomously and flexibly. Practitioners should have significant experience in primary care or A&E/Minor Injuries Unit. Working within the nursing team, you will work with the service manager and clinical lead to deliver robust clinical care.
The Ideal Candidate
You will have an Advanced Nurse Practitioner qualification, NMC registered and hold a prescribing qualification.
You will also need to be confident using IT systems and be able to demonstrate working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel.
