Job Introduction

We have an opportunity within our Intermediate Care team to join us as an Administrator!

The intermediate Care team provide the best care for the local community where you will have the chance to be a part of making a difference by providing comprehensive administrative support to the Intermediate Care Team. You will ensure that work is prioritised in order of urgency and support the Team Lead and Service Manager.

This role is on a full-time, permanent basis where you will be based in Camberley. The service operates between 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday and your working pattern will be across 3 shifts. There is no expectation to work weekends or bank holidays.

Main Responsibility

  • Supports the administration of multidisciplinary / hand over meetings, to include ensuring the availability of appropriate patient records, preparation and distribution of agenda’s and associated papers, minute taking for the weekly MDT on a Rota basis with other admin and recording follow up actions, adhering to patient confidentiality and Information Governance requirements throughout.
  • Monitoring email inbox and working closely with Ops lead and Triage and tracking referrals
  • Awareness of budgetary issues, the effective and safe use of resources.
  • Troubleshoot any day-to-day problems within the team / service e.g., liaising with IT providers to ensure seamless IT systems

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone with effective written and verbal communication skills and can plan and organise their own workload ad respond to changing priorities. The ideal candidate will have experience working in an office environment and can plan, organise and prepare agendas and minutes of meetings.

We would like someone who has knowledge of the work and aims of the community nursing service and the principles of patient centred service delivery along with a working knowledge of data protection and patient and staff confidentiality requirements.
