Job Introduction
We are looking for a friendly, organised Administrator to join our Sexual Health Hub in Loughborough. This is a key front‑line role, helping people feel welcome, supported and respected when they access our services.
You will be part of a busy, supportive administrative team that plays a vital role in the smooth running of clinics. From managing appointments and patient records to answering calls and supporting clinical colleagues, your work will make a real difference to patient experience.

Main Responsibilities
You will provide a high‑quality administrative service to support the day‑to‑day running of the Sexual Health Hub. This includes welcoming patients at reception, booking and registering appointments, managing telephone enquiries and ensuring patient records are accurate and up to date.
You will use electronic patient systems to track appointments and patient journeys, supporting effective clinic capacity and timely access to care. You will also carry out a range of back‑office tasks such as producing letters, managing mail, recording messages for clinical colleagues and booking translators when required.
Working closely with the wider multidisciplinary team, you will help maintain a safe, confidential and well‑organised environment. You will be flexible, use your initiative, and support service developments, outreach clinics and spoke sites as needed.

What we're looking for:
Essential
- GCSE level education or equivalent in Maths and English
- Experience in an administrative or reception role
- Confident using IT systems, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to organise and prioritise your workload
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Professional, mature approach when dealing with sensitive sexual health issues
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience handling confidential information
- Flexible and able to respond to changing service needs
Desirable
- Experience working in sexual health, primary care or another healthcare setting
- Experience using electronic patient record systems
You must be willing to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, and travel across local sites in line with service needs.
