Are you an experienced Pain Psychologist looking to join an organisation that is dedicated to clinical excellence whilst ensuring our staff members feel valued each and every day?
Main Responsibility
Your days will be rewarding and varied, you will work in a team of long-term pain specialists, including a CBT therapist, a pain specialist physiotherapist and a pain medications specialist. As a Pain Psychologist you will provide expert assessment and advice regarding appropriate psychological management of a complex and diverse range of patients within the pain management service of the musculoskeletal specialty, using advanced decision-making and clinical reasoning skills in psychological management.
The Ideal Candidate
You will be educated to doctorate level within the field of clinical psychology and have completed a degree in psychology along with knowledge of health, healthcare and social service agencies related to specialties of pain management. You will also need to be confident using IT systems and be able to demonstrate working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel.
