Job Introduction

HCRG Care Group is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Band 7 Tissue Viability Nurse to join our team at Burscough, Lancashire. As a key member of our community healthcare team, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact on the lives of patients by providing specialist tissue viability advice and care.

Looking after the continued development of safe, effective, evidenced based Tissue Viability Services across West Lancashire, you will be working in a full-time, permanent role, working Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm and have the opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary, supportive and collaborative team.

Main Responsibility

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • To be responsible for the continued development of safe, effective, evidenced based Tissue Viability Services across the local organisation.
  • Provide specialist Tissue Viability advice and support to Nursing staff and other professionals.
  • To contribute in the educational programs, to enable Nurses and other professionals to undertake a range of Tissue Viability treatment programs, safely meeting patients’ needs and supporting integrated care pathways.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a candidate who is driven, passionate and wanting to make a difference to their patients and families, you must also have:

  • A current NMC registration
  • UK driving licence and access to vehicle
  • Non-Medical prescriber – V150 or V300
  • Accredited Leg ulcer management course
  • Accredited Tissue Viability and wound management course
