Working within our Washwood Heath Urgent Care Centre as the Advanced Nurse Practitioner, you will be the face of our patient's journey. Your days will be varied and will include working with practice nursing team to provide high quality and evidence-based nursing for patients including the achievement of the Quality and outcome framework and other key performance indicators.

Main Responsibility

As the Advanced Nurse Practitioner you will be working closely with a multidisciplinary team where you will use your experience to practice autonomously and flexibly.  Practitioners should have significant experience in primary care or A&E/Minor Injuries Unit. Working within the nursing team, you will work with the service manager, and clinical lead to deliver robust clinical.

The Ideal Candidate

You will have an Advanced Nurse Practitioner qualification, NMC registered and hold a prescribing qualification and be working towards or hold an MSc in Advanced Practice.

You will also need to be confident using IT systems and be able to demonstrate working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel.
